24 [Commentlog] Let the shit hitting the fan commence
[It's another bad day for Kevas. As more time passes without his precious drink he's getting more and more of those. Any reasonable person would just lock themselves in their room and keep away from everyone. Unfortunately, Kevas isn't being reasonable much anymore.
Why should he have to lock himself away? He's already being punished so why should he have to be the one locked up? If people don't like his attitude right now they can just deal with it. It's not like they're the ones going through this.
As if by instinct, Kevas finds himself near the stables just staring at the stable tower where all the liquor is kept. It's like it's mocking him, and with Talia in his head he can't even sneak a drink. This troll isn't happy at all right now and pity the poor soul that comes across him.]

At the sight of Kevas, Dos pauses and nods back the way he'd come.]
Hey Kevas, you wanna grab the other one and save me a trip?
[Go on Kevas. Go get that big keg of booze.]
no subject
Dat be some kinda fuckin' joke?
[Or some kind of trap to get him into trouble. Kevas knows that Dos and Talia spend time together and he wouldn't put it past Dos to try something to make him look bad in front of his wife.]
no subject
The fuck is up with you, Troll? I'm askin' a damn favor.
[He's not sure what's going on, but hell if he isn't bugged by the attitude he's getting.]
You drink it. Might as well help keep the poison in stock.
no subject
My name ain't be troll, it be Kevas, and since when do I be owin' joo any fuckin' favuhs?
[He's shaking now but whether that's from withdrawal or anger is anyone's guess.]
No. I don't. Dat be da fuckin' problem!
no subject
You lot don't even know half of what we do for you.
[He rolls his shoulders, spikes on his head already starting to show. It's a natural armor set to trigger when he's getting angry or gearing up for a fight.]
And what the hell do you mean by that? You're the biggest drunk in the damn Keep.
no subject
[Kevas doesn't move but that doesn't mean he isn't gearing up for a fight himself.]
Dey fuckin' took away my choice and now joo be t'rowin' it in my fuckin' face!
no subject
Kevas, if you don't shut the hole in your face I will fucking shut it for you.

... What is it?
no subject
It be mockin' me.
[That's right. The inanimate object is mocking him.]
no subject
[He frowns.]
The... tower. Is mocking you.
no subject
Dat be what I said ain't it?
[His gazes back at the tower and growls. Someone definitely isn't thinking clearly.]
All dat fuckin' likah in dere and dey won't let me touch it.
no subject
How can a tower mock you? It is not sentient.
[Even knowing Kevas as long as he has, it takes a moment to turn "likah" into "liquor".]
Who will not?
no subject
[The troll clenches his fists, although it's more of an attempt to get them to stop shaking.]
Talia, Nel, all of dem! Dey took my choice from me!
[What he seems to be forgetting is that he eventually agreed to this.]

She stops and stares, trying to figure out just what exactly Kevas is.]
no subject
Joo be needin' sometin' or do joo just like givin' everymon a blank stare.
[He doesn't even look at her as he addresses her.]
no subject
[She follows his line of sight.]
That tower is absolutely fascinating.
no subject
[Kevas sneers slightly. She's starting to annoy him.]
It be a piece of shit.
no subject
Is it blocking your view?
no subject
No. It just be a pain in my ass.

When she sees Kevas, she thinks nothing of it, and waves energetically.]
Kevas! Hi! It’s really nice out here today, isn’t it?
no subject
No.
[Kevas may as well be spitting the way he says that. Perhaps he's so focused on his misery that he doesn't even realize who he's talking to, or maybe he just doesn't care anymore.]
no subject
...Really? But...I mean, it's so open! Or, well...more open than I'm used to...
[She flinches a little, and peers up at him and smiles hesitantly. Come on Daddy Kevas...smile?]
no subject
It be a prison wid pretty walls. Dat be all.
[Someone is determined to shit all over this mood.]
no subject
It's...it's not so bad...
[She shifts awkwardly.]
Um...do you want to maybe...get something to eat? [Maybe he's hungry...:/]
no subject
If I wanted to eat den I would.
[Though he'll probably just throw it up anyway.]
