You know, as shitty as places like this and the boat are, I have really got to hand it to them.
[He pauses as he downs his eighth bottle in a row.]
They definitely know their liquor around here. Seriously, I don't even recognize half these brands. Guess I had better spend some more time getting well acquainted with everything in here.
[Not that he hasn't been doing that. The tavern is pretty much his second home at this point and he's plenty happy to waste his day away trying every last bottle until he finally falls over. Sometimes a mon just needs a drink, and in this case he needs all of them.]

[Kevas gives her a look like he's sizing her up. It's her first time at this and she really didn't handle that first sip too well. He doesn't want her biting off more than she can chew her first round.
Finally he nods and hands her the bottle. He'll see how this one goes and decide from there.]

[She still doesn't know exactly what that means, but she's assuming it has something to do with the warm feeling in the pit of her belly.
A look of determination crosses her features when she's sized up - she knows that look, Flynn's given it to her before - and she takes it when it's handed and nods.]
Okay. [She can do this. She smacked Flynn with a frying pan and manipulated him into taking her to see the lights - she can handle a drink, right?
Right.
She follows his directions and takes a sip, grimacing a little as it goes down. But, no sputtering! Just...a lot of burning. Ugh, this stuff is kind of horrible.]
So being drunk is...what you want, not...sleeping? [She scrutinizes the bottle and when she's sure that she's not going to sputter or anything of that nature, she takes another sip, careful not to glug.
She hands it back. She doesn't want to overdo it, either.]

[Course she's not even close to being able to drink a full bottle yet but they can fix that.]

[She perks up quite a bit at that, and scrutinizes the bottle that he's holding. Okay, so you drink to take the edge off - but it's not for sleeping, it's to get drunk.
